2. Apply Coconut or Castor Oil💆‍♀️

Grooming and massaging

Apply coconut oil or castor oil to keep your eyebrows moisturised, doing it daily or 3 times a week. This can also help you shape your eyebrows by making them grow in one direction and massaging them simultaneously, promoting blood flow.

3. Trim your Eyebrows Weekly🪞

Use a trimmer to prevent a monobrow and to sharpen up your eyebrows weekly. Don’t trim off too much, keep your eyebrows looking as natural as possible. Less is more here.

Plucking a hair follicle can take between 4 and 6 months for it to grow back which is why you should be more mindful when plucking your eyebrows compared to just slightly trimming the edges.

4. Manage Your Stress to Maintain Healthy Full Hair 😌

Stress can cause your hair to fall, this may include eyebrow hair too. To destress, read a book, meditate or do yoga daily.

Trichotillomania is a condition that causes you the irresistible urge to pull your own hair, either from your scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes or other body parts. There may be a feeling of relaxation after pulling hair out. Trichotillomania can be caused by stress or anxiety (Atış et al., 2022).

Ashwagandha is a herbal supplement that can act as an adaptogen (help decrease stress) (Salve et al., 2019; Singh et al., 2011).

5. Antioxidant Serum and Natural Products 🌿

Apply an antioxidant serum

As part of your skincare routine, when applying an antioxidant serum on your face, apply it over your eyebrows too. It can help rejuvenate the skin under your eyebrows and so help your eyebrow hairs to grow healthier.

Natural product for eyebrow growth

A combination extract from two plant species, Coffee arabica and Jarilla shows promising results in improving eyebrow growth (Alonso et al., 2019).

In a study done on premenopausal and postmenopausal women, a Jarilla- Coffea extract gel significantly increased the thickness and growth of eyebrows in a high percentage of the study’s volunteers (Alonso et al., 2019).
